One of the items I received in my Influenster VoxBox was the imPRESS Press- On Manicure set. I received a leopard nail pattern for the nails. Since it’s quite a loud nail pattern, I had to save it until I found an occasion to wear these. I don’t have the talent for creative nail art so I was quite excited to have some fancy nails for a party for once.
They have a plastic tab on the back that indicates lines with the cuticle, and then you peel off the sticker and stick it on your nails. Simple, easy, and takes less than 20 seconds for a clean look.
The press on nails are definitely glossy and gives that perfect, manicure sheen. They felt shiny and indestructible when I put it on.
However, to wear these nails comfortably, I found that my nails should be a bit longer, as some of the press on nails were too long for my nail. These nails lasted around 4 days on me. They stuck on well, but dust particles started to stick on the bits where the press on nail was longer than my real nail.
One of the biggest disappointments was that it did not fit my thumb nail! I guess I have a bigger thumbnail compared to the average female thumb nail. Usually when I try nail stickers on, they have stickers big enough for my thumb, so I was surprised that the largest press on nail would not fit my thumbnail.
Broadway imPress Press-on manicures would be excellent for a one-off event or if you’re in a hurry and you want to glam up (I’ve ran around freaking out about having to put on nail polish a couple hours before an event…not pretty.) However, they are not as practical for casual wear. They retail for approximately $8.99-$10.99 at Walmart; which is much more affordable than a regular manicure.
There are 24 nail covers in the box, so I still have some extra for some future use! I think I will also put one on my ring finger and then paint the other nails. If you had any experience with imPRESS Press-On Manicure, let me know!
