Being so busy with work and stressing like no tomorrow with driving lessons lately, I rarely have time to discover new makeup routines and sometimes I even skip wearing anything nowadays. Nowadays, when my social life gets comes into place, I get extra excited in experimenting with new makeup looks. Mascara is the usual route in making my eyes a wider and to give my lashes that volume; but sometimes I get tired of worrying of my mascara smudging in the undereye area or on my glasses or have my lashes lose its curl. One way to amp it up is using false eyelashes. I have recently tried ESQIDO lashes which are handcrafted with Grade A Siberian mink fur.
MYNK lashes is a Canadian company(based in Toronto and my hometown, Vancouver!) and they are committed to providing luxury craftsmanship in their products. Additionally, the false lashes are are hypoallergenic and uses cruelty free, genuine mink fur. The MYNK lashes collection contains 9 different sets of lashes, ranging from light volume to maximum volume. The price point ranges from $42-$62, although currently the lashes are being sold from $31 to $39. These lashes are higher end, but they can be worn up to 25 times, which justifies the price tag.
The lashes come in a small white box and they should be removed gently from tweezers. To preserve the life of the lashes, they can be stored again.

The pair I tried out is from the medium volume section called Winks and Kisses. I love lashes that criss cross across the band. The lash length range between 6-12mm. The longest strands are concentrated in the middle and the criss cross pattern gives your eyes that flirtatious look. Winks and Kisses are considered to provide medium volume, but it’s a lot more voluminous than I originally thought. I don’t think any mascara I own can provide volume as similar as this.

MYNK lashes are soft and feather light and comfortable to wear throughout the day or night. I don’t feel the need to put on eyeliner across my eye except in the corner, since the band of Winks and Kisses is thick enough to make my eyes look bigger already. Winks and Kisses add that ‘oomph’ to my eyes and is that “cherry on top” when I want to go full out with my makeuyp. I’m definitely saving up my other 20 or so uses for special occasions.
Who says you can’t have drama behind glasses?!
I’m so excited that fall is finally here; I drove by a park today and all the trees in rows were golden yellow. I have to slowly transition to more fall fashion and makeup looks! Stay tuned!
