First off to all my readers, Happy Chinese New Year!
Awhile ago I wrote a post on reviving free deluxe samples from Dior when you send in your receipts. One product was a mini Dior Dior Addict Lipstick in “Dior Kiss 578.”
What it is:

Inspired by the cutting-edge runway fashions of Dior, this hydrating and volumizing formula dresses lips with a veil of addicting color and spectacular shine.
This is described as a “sheer dark pink” colour and the product is exactly as it is described. I have a lot of lip colours that are more on the brighter pink side, and I was a bit worried this would be a bit too dark. But it’s not! It’s a warm shade that adds subtle colour; it doesn’t scream “I WORE A LOT OF LIPSTICK!” but more like “Hey, I’m looking freshened up today!” 🙂
Encased in a transparent case that shows an array of colours under angles, the Dior Addict lipstick is a very hydrating, creamy moisturizing product that provides shine without glitters or shimmers.
It is a “sheer”colour, but two layers of the product will provide decent coverage that gave me a natural, finished look. It feels like a lip balm, and the colour lasted around 3 hours on me without drying. Even after eating, there is still a stain of colour left behind. It doesn’t feel waxy (the Dior Lip Glow feels a bit stickier/waxier to me!) There is also no scent to the product either!
One thing I noticed was that the lipstick didn’t sink into any cracks or dryness in my lips! Usually that’s not the case, so not sure if I’ve been hydrated lately or this product has been working better compared to other ones I have tried.
The regular price of this lipstick is $31 which is quite pricey so I’m super happy I got a mini sample for free. A great quality lip product with beautiful packaging is always great to keep around in your purse, ladies!
