My current favourite drugstore lip product is L’Oreal Colour Riche Caresse Stick in Blushing Sequin. I think I have been staying away from the fall trend of dark lips, since I still prefer brighter colours!
All of the Colour Riche Caresse sticks comes in a square, gold plastic tube. This is a lipstick, but to me, it’s a cross between a lip balm and a lipstick. It’s smooth and creamy and feels moisturizing like a lip balm. It does accentuate dryness and it seeps into lines a bit, though. I have to make sure my lips are smooth before applying L’Oreal Caresse stick on.
The colour is a bright, almost fuschia pink. If dabbed lightly, it can be a fairly nice, natural pink colour- but it the colour is buildable for a more pigmented and brighter look. The colour does fade quite quickly, I would say around 1-2 hours depending if you are eating/talking/drinking. But I can easily apply the Caresse stick without looking into a mirror.
I like the shine it gives to the lips when applied because they look fuller and shinier.
For those who want a moisturizing lip colour but do not like lipstick, L’Oreal Colour Riche Caresse Stick is a good alternative since it provides hydration and good pigmentation.
