I own a lot of pink things. I also own a lot of pink lip products. Pink isn’t my favourite colour, but it’s a colour that attracts me a lot.
(Except my iphone charger cable shown below isn’t pink, I had a pink one but it broke.)

A natural, looking pink colour on the lips brightens up the complexion easily, and it doesn’t look overdone. Pink lips can suit any outfit. So how do I achieve the natural pink lip? I have 4 easy steps!
1. Exfoliate!
If you have really dry lips, exfoliating regularly can make your lips smooth and get rid of the dead skin! I use Lush Mint Julips Lip Scrub.
2. Lip Balm!
Right after exfoliation, I immediately apply a layer of lip balm so my lips can be moisturized as soon as possible! I like using Nivea Pure and Natural Milk & Honey Lip Balm since it a) smells good, b) fills in lines, c)feels hydrated!
3. Pink Lipstick!
Time to choose the pink colour of your choice! There are hundreds, if not thousands of pink lipsticks out there. I am using Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in 415 Pink In The Afternoon. I got this at London Drugs during the summer for $3.99!
This is a very creamy lipstick and the colour is a salmon-rose pink. (I’ll do a full review on it sometime!)
4. Lip Gloss
For a finishing touch, I add lip gloss in the middle of the top lip. On the bottom lip, I add lip gloss 2/3 of the lip, a bit in the middle, a bit on the left, and a bit on the right. I like using Buxom Lip Polish in Katie since I love the tingling and cooling feeling it gives.
I also recommend Revlon’s Super Lustrous Gloss in Pink Whisper.
Are you a pink fanatic?
Have a happy Thanksgiving (if you’re Canadian!) 🙂
