As I mentioned in my previous haul here, I picked up Essence Gel Eyeliner (made in Italy) for $3.99- since it would be my first gel eyeliner and it was worth a try for that price. I finally got the hang of wearing it and just want to share my experience with you all!
For $3.99- you get 3mL of product. The packaging is in a small glass pot (as with all gel eyeliners I suppose.)
It is described as a “high precision eyeliner.” It is also waterproof.
I got the colour called “London Baby” which is a dark, chocolate brown colour. There is also a bit of shimmer in it, but doesn’t translate a lot on my eyes- which I am fine with.
The gel eyeliner is very creamy- and I picked too much product up the first couple times, hence the dents in the pot!

This colour lasts very long, it doesn’t smudge- such that it is almost a pain to remove it. After swatching it on my hand, I had to waste a bit of eye makeup remover, water and soap to wash it off. It is very smooth and creamy- which makes it easy to glide along my lash line with a brush. It also dried fairly quickly.
It looks more black on camera, sorry! I used it to line my outer eye + the outer third of my lower lash line.

I looked this product up on Makeupalley and it got 4.6/5! Impressive, for a drugstore eyeliner! Their quality have been compared to MAC and Bobbi Brown gel eyeliners!
✔ Creamy and easy to glide
Cons
✘ Easily wasted if you pick up too much product with brush
✘ It’s long lasting properties can be hard to remove with makeup remover
I am amazed at this product! This gel liner can probably last me a long while!
