I feel a bit more motivated to prep blog posts once I have some tasks out of the way. Those tasks included going to the gym (an ‘ugh’ moment every time,) catching up on Riverdale, and finishing 13 reasons why!! Now, I have another wave of lip products to be thrown on here and I hope you don’t mind. I haven’t even had time to blog about my Shoppers Drug Mart redemption haul (though i wasn’t really exciting, one of my purchases was orange juice and vitamins.) Speaking of what you can get drugstores, Burt’s Bees have four new shades in their line of lipsticks! [Read more…]
My forehead is having another “screw you whitney” phase and it’s breaking out faster than me running for free food. Last year (which is already more than four months ago) I received the Philosophy Clear Days Ahead collection. I’ve been trying it long enough to write a review that I feel comfortable about. I rarely use everything from one collection so it was neat to have this experience; and my breakouts are active enough that this line aligned with my skincare problems.
I thought my “stress” from writing the engineering professional practice exam (WHICH I PASSED!) triggered breakouts. Not the case though, breakouts have not subsided one bit. 🙁 🙁
Lately, the stress eating has been real. I hope none of ya run into me in real life because dem face pudge is going to wave hello before my hand does!! I should be making 10,000 steps per day listen on my Fitbit but there’s been days where I’m less than 2000 steps. One of my more recent food adventures was at Notch8 Restaurant at Hotel Vancouver for their Brothers Grimm Fairy Tale Afternoon Tea.
The end of a stressful week is finally here! I finished watching Iron Fist and have moved on to 13 Reasons Why. Yup, I have been doing a bit of Netflix binging as I find it a stress relief, whereas, blogging could actually be a bit stressful at times! Mary Kay’s Light, Reinvented spring collection is bursting with pinks and pastels and a little bit of brightness is really what I need in life right now. This collection was released back in February, but I’ve only gotten around to trying them out until recently.
I don’t really accessorize. When I do want to dress up a bit, some of the pieces I wear are from Pandora; and I have quite a long wishlist now. Funnily enough; I love their rings, earrings, and necklaces a bit more than their charms. Pandora’s 2017 Spring Collection contains a mix of bright colours and pastels.
