Back to wearing more makeup again cause my skin sucks…and when my skin sucks I rather draw attention to my lips rather than my forehead, which is beginning to look like the shell of a lychee. In a post I did last year, I talked about how I adore Burberry’s Lip Velvet Lipsticks so I was stoked to see the Liquid Lip Velvet that arrived on my doorstep a while ago.
Hello!!It’s been a bit since I’ve been online – these mini social media breaks are quite awesome (social media break = killing time on the playstation nowadays.) I got some really awesome mail in 2017 that I’ve been a bit lazy to share, but fear not, the reviews are coming!! Teeez Cosmetics has been on my radar for awhile now, since I’ve gotten one of the mascaras in a Topbox in 2014. I *don’t* think they were available (or easily accessible) in Canada- but now they’re sold exclusively at Hudson’s Bay online and in stores across Canada.
I’ve reviewed many liquid lipsticks on here but they still scare the crap out of me because once it’s on, it does a pretty good job of staying on – and usually there’s a 50% chance it looks bad and 50% chance my mind is blown. Make Up For Ever recently launched their new Artist Acrylip, a play on the word “acrylic.” I was sent the cutest packaging and was excited as I originally saw Gigi Gorgeous review them on her Youtube channel with the Acrylip bucket and the lid opener, which she used as a bottle opener too lol!
I haven’t seen any cherry blossom trees yet but the spring products are already rolling in! Dior launched a few new shades for their Rouge Dior Matte Lipstick collection on January 15. I’ve only been familiar with the Dior Addict lipsticks and the Rouge Dior certainly takes luxury lipstick packaging to a new level!
Whoah, I realized it’s been a while since my face has been in a blog post! One of my goals for 2017 is to catch up on my products in the first three months of the year; since I really want to a) have a cleaner room b)not have a backtrack of products c)have more updated material rather than a product that came out six months ago. Of course, this has been rather hard for now since I’ve been watching anime…especially Yuri!!! On Ice.
Clinique’s lipsticks are one of my favourites as I love the rectangular bullet packaging and their price; I just discovered the Pop Matte Lip Colour + Primer lipsticks when Jung Saem Mool, Clinique Colour Pro Artist, visited Vancouver back in November.
