December is my favourite month (also the laziest, hooray for getting out of bed not at AM); not only do I get to go over Christmas related products and do some self Christmas sale shopping, I also think of them as mini birthday presents to myself. I recently just turned a year older *silent sobs* and I know the month is flying by, and before we know it, it’s going to be 2017! I have some exciting travel plans for January, but before then – lets look at all things holiday and fun, shall we? Sephora has a ton of gifts with decent value, perfect for any friend, sister, or teacher!
The only sport I probably know best in the world is….guess…Quidditch! Jokes aside, Vancouver is pretty passionate with sports. When the Seattle Seahawks won the Superbowl in 2013, pretty much all of Vancouver was in a bit of a frenzy; we love our neighbours! Even if I don’t know a whole lot of football, I do get swayed by “mob mentality” when it comes to sports. I partnered with NFL Canada to create a game day outfit that supports the Seattle Seahawks. While I may not know when the next game is, I do love wearing comfy sport apparel with a bit of fashion integrated in it!
My mood’s been a bit on the bleh side, and when I get a package from Lush, that makes me happy. Writing about bath products is almost as relaxing as taking one; because it’s very hard to have a crappy bath. Unless I find myself melting or getting some allergic reaction *knock on wood,* having a bath is not only relaxing but it’s like brain therapy. Christmas stuff is everywhere and Lush has some cute and sweet bath stuff to make your holiday hotter!
Having a decent sized bag that looks good from day to night is of utmost importance for me. There are times where I have a blog event after work, so I’d switch from a backpack to a more professional looking bag. I would be lying if I said it wasn’t a hassle to transport my items back and forth in between bags; that’s the #firstworldproblems downside of being a girl eh?! My bag is cluttered with hoarded napkins, receipts, and probably crumbs (I dropped a McDonalds mini chocolatini in it once *sigh.*) There are a few key items that are of utmost importance to me and I gotta check and double check and triple check before I GTFO of my house.
I learned the hard way – watching a movie two nights in a row and having to work the next day, does a huge toll on my mind. Especially when it’s Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and you just want to nerd out. My mental energy and my skin was as dull as Vancouver at 4pm and I wish I was a Niffler so I can detect all the freakin’ gold right now. Though I am a Muggle, my Niffler senses are telling me that the Make Up For Ever Pro Light Fusion Highlighter is something I’d store in my human-Niffler-pouch any day.
