If you’ve seen my Instagram, I am a sucker for taking food pictures, cause food is as important to me as beauty, YUP! I do ramble about food once or so often so I dub Monday to be the day for food posts (if I have any) and call it Munchy Monday! Every summer I look forward to the summer themed tea service that The Urban Tea Merchant makes because their presentation hits the spot (and I was bummed for missing on their Garden Tea Party.) This year I was invited to try their Summer Westcoast Tea Set and I felt some Alice in Wonderland vibes from it!
Two things I am excited for: the Minions movie coming out next week (already got my tickets) and bronzing myself up for the hot, sunny weather. A few posts back, I introduced a few items from the Lise Watier Rivages Collection and I focused on a pink look. I now present you more products from the collection (and I have to admit, I like these ones even MORE) and this is more of a bronzey-rose look. After playing around with these, I was even more impressed with the Rivages collection. I know I posted a Summer Makeup Picks post recently, but the bronzer here just blows everything out of the water.
Did you know it’s really hard to do a foot selfie? Anyway, if I need to admit one thing to you guy is that…my feet aren’t the nicest smelling things in the world and they get sweaty easily when I wear flats. When I was in China I had a pedicure + exfoliation done to my feet and let’s just say that years of skin build up was shredded off in a mere matter of ten minutes and alerted me that I really need to start looking after them. I recently been trying Gena Perfect Pedicure Feet-to-Go from Trade Secrets and I think my feet may have hope!
When I meet a gloss, I either hate it or love; I feel that my chubby lips and certain glosses just don’t go together- it’s like marrying oil and water together. Throw in chapped lips and gloss can make my lips look like a disaster. However, I liked how the Make Up For Ever Artist Plexi Gloss sat on me (okay, maybe mainly the pink shade) and now I feel motivated to wear more glosses besides Dior’s Lip Maximizer.
Lipliners with a built in sharpener in the cap….have we seen that before? When I first got the Smashbox Always Sharp Lip Liner, my mind immediately jumped to the Annabelle Cosmetics Stay Sharp Waterproof Lipliner, which I reviewed back in November. The fun and gimmicky thing about this lipliner is the fact that you don’t need a pencil sharpener; if you twist the pencil up onto the lid, the pencil will sharpen itself. Where the bits of pencil goes, who knows! As the Smashbox Always Sharp Lip Liner retails for $23 CAD, I’m interested to see how these compare to the drugstore version of Annabelle’s lipliner.
